Honda Recalls 241,000 Odyssey Minivans
In the wake of Toyota and Honda’s massive recall of over 6 million vehicles due to airbag safety concerns, Honda is now recalling 241,000 Honda Odysseys because they could catch fire. The recall covers EX-L, Touring and Elite minivans from the 2018 through 2020 models. A wire running to a third row power outlet may have been pinched and damaged during manufacturing. It can cause a short circuit, which can ignite a plastic interior panel covering. Honda says owners of these vehicles will be notified of the recall by mail in mid-March.
