Damon Wayans Says Tracy Morgan Got $90 Million in Wal-Mart Settlement

Damon Wayans said on-air on a radio show Tracy Morgan received a $90 million settlement from Wal-Mart earlier this year.  Morgan was a passenger in a limo that was hit by a Wal-Mart truck and was severely injured in the wreck.  Another passenger, Morgan’s friend, was killed in the accident.  The settlement Morgan entered into with Wal-Mart was confidential and Morgan’s attorneys are denying the $90 million figure.  They say there is no way Wayans would know the amount and Morgan has not even spoken to Wayans since before the wreck. 

Most settlements are confidential and if the parties to the settlement break their confidentiality agreement, legal repercussions can follow.
