Kentucky Judge Certifies Class Action Against Tax Lien Company and Two Lawyers
A Kentucky Judge in Jefferson County certified a class action lawsuit against Ohio tax lien purchasing company, JAMOS and its two lawyers. Our lawsuit alleges the company improperly charged delinquent tax payers millions of dollars in attorneys fees that were never incurred. The proof developed so far forced the defendants to admit they charged each and every tax payer the maximum permissible amount of attorneys fees permitted by law, despite not having done any legal work. JAMOS purchased tax liens in all 120 counties in Kentucky and have purchased in excess of 7,000 tax liens. We are proud to represent the people of Kentucky in an attempt to recover the improperly collected attorneys fees. You can read the Order Certifying Kentucky Class Action to see the class definitions.
