Local Diet Drug Doctor is Being Investigated
Today’s Courier Journal reports a local diet drug doctor is being investigated for operating an online pharmacy that never evaluates the people getting the medications. Dr. Tufan I. Senler is being investigated by the DEA over these practices. The Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure has filed its own complaint against the doctor, which could result in disciplinary action, including revoking his license to practice medicine. Senler denies the allegations but has agreed to stop practicing medicine until the matter is resolved. “It’s voluntary. No one has suspended his license,” said Senler’s lawyer, T. Wesley Faulkner, adding that Internet prescribing is not illegal. “There’s been no disciplinary action against my client.”
